Course studied: Diploma in Business Studies

I completed the ICM Diploma in Business Studies, Diploma in Commercial Management and MBA in International Management in 1987. I am Singaporean however I studied the programmes in Bournemouth and continue to live there today, working as a self-employed Landlord.

Working in the field of property management, my day-to-day responsibilities include dealing with prospective and current tenants, undertaking maintenance, and keeping up to date with ongoing changes to property legislation.

I would like to retire at 40 and don’t have any plans for further study in the future, however I believe my ICM qualifications have helped me to become streetwise and have encouraged me to take hold of opportunities.

For enjoyment, I play board games, such as Boggles and Kalooki, as well as travelling, walking my dog and playing badminton. I also have a 12-year-old son who is very academic and sporty and is currently running for Dorset.
