Course studied: Diploma in Business Studies

In 2005, I graduated with a number of ICM qualifications under my belt. I completed the Diploma in Business at the Management Development Institute (MDI), and the Advanced Diploma in Business Studies and the Graduate Diploma in Business Studies at the Institute of Public Administration and Management (IPAM).

I am now employed with Trustbank Gambia Ltd as a Provincial Branch Manager for the Soma province. I am responsible for administrating the day-to-day running of the branch, as well as representing the bank’s Chief Executive at social programmes and functions/seminars.

I believe that studying ICM programmes has equipped me with a range of skills that help me to undertake my role, particularly in the areas of management and delegation. I am still studying and recently completed the first stage of a Masters programme. Once I have completed the Masters, I hope to become a Managing Director.

I wholeheartedly recommend ICM courses to students considering furthering their education and would describe the Institution as a pace setter in the field of education.
