ICM visits Kenyan Centres
Three ICM staff members have recently returned from visiting students and Centres in Kenya. The trip was a chance for staff to introduce themselves and for ICM to gain feedback about courses and examinations.
Keith Parr, Iain Nightingale – both ICM Examinations Officers – and Peter Rounce, ICM’s Technical Development Manager, visited five ICM Centres in Kenya.
Lots of positive feedback was gained from the Centres, along with suggestions for further improving the service provided by the Institute.
Overall, the Centres were impressed with the range and number of courses available, the number of examination sittings each year and the marketing materials they received from ICM.
Iain Nightingale, ICM Examinations Officer, found the trip extremely valuable: ‘We learnt a lot from the Centres. It was a great experience for us as examinations officers to see how a different country operates and to see its teaching methods. It was a good trip for both us and the Centres.’
ICM is considering all the feedback it has received from the Centres and will act on it in due course.

Thanks so much for the visit. Some of us are just requesting if it would be possible to allow private students to have it possible to register directly to ICM, and may be go to the centres only for examinations just as ACCA does.
This is really because some people on full time employment are unable to get time off for fulltime classess or even evening classess but can only get time at the local resiedences whereby there may be no ICM approved centres.
Please do consider and advice us.

Unfortunately, ICM was only able to visit five Centres while in Kenya. Due to time constraints, we were only able to visit these Centre on this short trip.
In the future, we will hopefully be able to visit more Centres in Kenya and other countries.

I’m very glad that there are ICM centres in Kenya. But my worry is; is it possible for one to pursue his/her bachelors within Kenya too? Or are ICM students allowed to go and study in the UK?

At the moment, standard procedure for finding a centre is by filling out the online form at this link: http://www.icm.ac.uk/icm-qualifications/find-an-icm-approved-centre/
ICM has been looking into providing online study and hopefully, in the future we will be able to provide that service.

Dear sir or Madam,
congratulations for visiting your centers in Kenya. And you have done well to let being known your prospectus but what you have forgot is selling of those books that we have to use while studying, even if they are sold at British council is okay, economically it will improve your institute income .Please think about that. see you and God bless you
